Over
the past two decades, Karate America, the largest
martial arts academy system in the State of Wisconsin, has made
the commitment to make a difference in our students' lives. Our
instructors are personally selected, not only for their martial
arts skill, but also for their ability to effectively communicate
their knowledge and understanding to students of all ages. As a
result of attending many seminars, world conferences, and tournaments
across the nation, it is no surprise that Karate America
instructors are ranked among the finest in the world!
At Karate America we realize that each student
possesses different physical abilities. Size, flexibility,
coordination, and strength vary with each individual. Once you
have acquired a strong foundation in the basics, our program will
enhance your personal physical capabilities and
maximize your self defense skills. Our team is
committed to providing quality martial arts instruction to each student,
and is done as if we were working with our own family.
I have watched my son George evolve from a shy maybe a little insecure young boy into a young man that any parent would be proud to call him their son. At a recent parent teacher conference, George’s Spanish teacher told us that George is the most respectful student she has ever had in her long career as a teacher. She said it is almost like having a man in the classroom! Although we were flattered, we weren’t that surprised. Because of Karate America, George has become extremely aware of the people around him and it is almost as if he has radar on people’s physical and emotional state. Early in George’s Education he was diagnosed with a spatial relations deficit. We told George’s Spanish teacher, we give much credit to Karate America for teaching George techniques such as respect, just to name one of many, that he can carry from your studio and use them practically in his everyday life. It was George’s idea to join Karate America and based on the results I’d say it was the smartest thing he has ever done.

Since starting with Karate America we have seen so many wonderful, positive changes in our son. He has grown so much. Physically, he is much and more aware and in control of his body and actions. Mentally he is confident and focused. With his positive attitude he has learned how to bring out the best in himself and others in all aspects of his life. We would sincerely like to thank everyone at Karate America for helping to bring out the best in our son. His physical and emotional training in martial arts will stay with him forever.

I believe Lori is much more outgoing and sociable since beginning her karate experience. She is able to communicate with many different types of people, children as well as adults. Lori is much more physically fit and her self-confidence and self-esteem has improved. Moreover, I believe her employment advances are directly related to the disciplines she learned while participating in karate.

Karate lessons have been beneficial for Luke in a number of ways. He’s had many positive role models (both instructors and fellow students). Luke is healthier, more physically fit. He’s better at developing short term and long term goals. Luke has learned that to achieve important goals in life takes lots of hard work and dedication. Our son has greater confidence in all his abilities due to his Karate America training.

Karate has been a fantastic experience for Michael! Since beginning karate we have seen positive changes in Michael’s strength, fitness and balance along with improvement in his focus and self control. Karate has also provided Michael with friendships with other students. We have also seen Michael’s self-confidence grow which has allowed him to be successful at school and in life. The Black Belt Team Program has encouraged him both physically and mentally. We are so proud of him for setting a goal, working hard to succeed, and then achieving his Black Belt. Thank you for giving him the opportunity to be his best!

We have defiantly noticed that Gavan is more physically fit. His fitness assessment has shown steady improvement as well. In the past we have had issues with Gavan needing constant reminding to complete his homework. He now takes responsibility to get his homework done without us nagging him. In general, late assignments have nearly disappeared and his grades have gone up steadily this year. He is a respectful kid and his teachers often compliment how polite he is.
